  1. 1. Control the exchange

Whoever controls the ball controls the pace of the round.

  2. 2. Force a mistake

Spacing, fake throws and abilities make the other player guess wrong.

  3. 3. Cash out damage

Once you get the read, convert it into a hit, a catch, or an ultimate.

Dodgers

grudge_pose

The Enforcer

Grudge

Grudge fights every exchange like it is personal. Direct, relentless and built around overwhelming pressure, he would rather force his opponent into a mistake than wait for one.

A heavy-pressure bruiser built around raw power, aggressive positioning and punishing openings.

  • Trick

    Cash Out

Hits the opponent with immediate offensive pressure, letting Grudge convert an opening without needing to throw the ball.

  • Treat

    Full Send

Temporarily boosts Grudge's movement speed, helping him chase possession, close space or keep pressure on the opponent.

  • Ultimate

    Meteor Thunder

Turns the ball into a devastating power throw designed to punish a bad read with massive impact.

echo_pose

The Trickster

Echo

Echo never plays the exchange the way his opponent expects. He wins through misdirection, awkward timing and forcing people to react to the wrong thing.

A deception-focused Dodger built around baiting reactions, disrupting timing and stealing momentum.

  • Trick

    Freeze Frame

Briefly freezes the opponent, creating an opening for Echo to reposition, attack or set up another play.

  • Treat

    False Exit

Teleports Echo into a temporary new position, letting him suddenly change spacing and attack from an unexpected angle.

  • Ultimate

    Bad Bounce

Manipulates the ball's trajectory to create an unpredictable Ultimate throw that is harder to read normally.

nova_pose_2

The Speed Demon

Nova

Nova wants the round moving faster than her opponent can process it. She thrives on pressure, movement and forcing multiple decisions before the other Dodger can settle.

A high-tempo Dodger focused on speed, pressure and overwhelming the opponent with multiple threats.

  • Trick

    Anchor Drop

Slows the opponent, reducing their ability to reposition and making the next exchange harder to escape.

  • Treat

    Phase Shield

Grants Nova temporary protection, giving her more freedom to pressure or survive a dangerous exchange.

  • Ultimate

    Neon Volley

Creates multiple ball threats at once, forcing the opponent to deal with a much more chaotic defensive situation.

frost_pose

The Frostguard

Frost

Frost prefers control over chaos. She protects space, creates obstacles and forces the opponent to fight on terms she has already prepared.

A defensive tactician built around controlling space, surviving pressure and creating difficult angles.

  • Trick

    Hard Line

Creates an Ice Wall at center stage that blocks and reflects incoming balls while players can continue moving through it.

  • Treat

    Cold Storage

Restores some of Frost's health, rewarding her for finding enough space to recover safely.

  • Ultimate

    Final Frame

Launches a powerful snowball attack that damages the opponent and disrupts their movement.

shadow_pose

The Umbra

Shadow

Shadow wins by taking certainty away from the opponent. He creates hesitation, removes defensive options and makes every incoming attack harder to trust.

A disruption-focused Dodger built around disabling defenses, creating decoys and punishing uncertainty.

  • Trick

    Lights Out

Temporarily disables the opponent's ability to catch, forcing them to survive incoming throws through movement and evasive options instead.

  • Treat

    Dead Ringer

Creates a Shadow Clone that acts as a decoy and makes Shadow harder to read during the exchange.

  • Ultimate

    Black Serve

Unleashes Shadow's signature Ultimate attack, applying heavy pressure while denying the opponent their usual defensive comfort.

frame_pose

The Framebreaker

Frame

Frame is calculated, patient and obsessed with timing. He does not overpower an exchange, he changes when and where it happens until the opponent is forced to move on his terms.

A technical control Dodger who manipulates ball timing, trajectory and second chances.

  • Trick

    Frame Lock

Slows Frame's own flying ball and lets him redirect it in one of eight directions before restoring its original speed.

  • Treat

    Frame Advantage

Slows an incoming hostile ball, giving Frame extra time to read the situation and choose his response.

  • Ultimate

    Retake

After throwing his Ultimate, Frame can recall the same ball back into his hand once and manually take another shot before the Retake window expires.

Ability System

Every Dodger carries three abilities. Together they define how that Dodger plays.

  • Trick

Disrupt the opponent and change the exchange.

  • Treat

    Protect, reposition or empower yourself.

  • Ultimate

    Your biggest momentum swing.

World / Lore

Dodge Rumble was never supposed to return.

Years ago, illegal Dodge Rumble matches in Neonvale ended in tragedy after an experimental event changed some Dodgers forever. The sport was banned and buried with the people it destroyed. Now the Rumble has returned, and powerful fighters are being drawn back into the arena.
